Spring Garden Kick-off: 5 Steps to a More Beautiful Garden

Spring is gardeners' favorite season – everything starts anew. Trees bud, the soil slowly warms up, birds return. But a beautiful garden is not by chance. The real difference lies in how you start the season. If you make good use of the first few weeks, you set the tone for the entire season.

1. Soil Testing and pH Adjustment

Most garden problems are rooted in the soil – literally. If the pH level is not right, plants cannot absorb nutrients, no matter how regularly you water and fertilize. A simple pH test will show you where you stand in minutes. The ideal range for most garden plants is between 6.0 and 7.0. If your soil is acidic, Kalcinol, a natural calcium source, helps restore balance – without stressing soil life.

2. Waking up the Lawn

After winter, the lawn is faded, weak, and patchy. This is completely normal – the grass blades have gone into winter dormancy, and the microbiological activity of the soil has also been reduced to a minimum. The most important step at this time is not mowing, but feeding. With its nitrogen and magnesium content, Green Max will re-green the lawn in days, while also strengthening the roots. The result is noticeable after one or two weeks: the lawn becomes uniformly green, denser, and more resistant to weeds.

3. Preparing Flower Beds

Flower beds are the first impression – they give the garden its character. In spring, it is worth loosening the soil, removing old plant residues, and adding fresh nutrients to the root zone. Magic Flowers special nutrient solution has been developed specifically for flowering plants: it provides long-lasting, even nutrient supply, making flower beds bloom more abundantly and for longer throughout the season.

4. Starting the Vegetable Garden

If you grow your own vegetables, spring preparation is particularly important. The first few weeks are crucial for seedlings and seeds – this is when roots develop, and when it is decided how strong and fruitful the plant will be. The combined use of vegetable nutrient solution and special vegetable fertilizer results in stronger seedlings and a more abundant harvest. Natural ingredients ensure that vegetables are tasty and nutrient-rich.

5. Regular Nutrient Supply

Consistency is key. It's not about giving a lot once, but about replenishing nutrients regularly, in small doses. Fertilize once a week and spread granular fertilizer every two months – this alone will make a noticeable difference. The soil thus remains continuously active, plants develop evenly, and you can avoid periods of nutrient deficiency in summer.

If you don't know where to start, try the Spring Garden Starter Kit – it contains everything you need for the first few weeks.
